FREE Open House
Remix Swing hosts regular FREE Open Houses which include a Introduction to West Coast Swing class, snacks, and social dancing. The class is designed to get you moving on the dance floor and introduce you to the world of West Coast Swing, suitable for brand-new dancers. All are welcome! No partner or experience necessary.

Workshops with Maria Ford - Sept. 27-28th
Professional WCS dancer Maria Ford (Ottawa) is visiting Waterloo on September 27 & 28th! Come learn from the best! All levels are welcome but you should have some understanding of West Coast Swing basics (at least 8-10 weeks of beginner classes).
Schedule:
Friday Sept. 27th, 7-9:30pm -- “Glow-Up” Critique Session
Saturday Sept. 28th:
- 10:15am -- Intermediate* Workshop with Maria Ford
- 1:15pm - 5:30pm -- TWO All-levels Workshops with Maria Ford
- 7:00pm - 11:30pm -- Dance Party including Intro to WCS class with Mikaela
Costs:
- $60+HST per Saturday workshop
- $120+HST for the afternoon workshops (ALL-LEVELS) & Dance Party
- $140+HST for all workshops (Intermediate + all-levels) & Dance Party
- Friday “Glow-Up” Critique Session: $50+HST (extra cost)

*Intermediate Workshop:
We are offering an intermediate workshop with Maria Ford prior to the all-levels workshops. This workshop is intended for Competition Intermediate Level dancers. It will be strictly restricted to meeting a minimum of ONE the following requirements:
- Have been dancing WCS for at least 2.5 years; OR
- Have completed at least 80 hours of WCS group instruction or 25 hours of WCS private instruction; OR
- Have a minimum 6 Novice competition points.
West Coast Swing Dance Party - Sept. 28th
Join us for our West Coast Swing Dance Party! This event will include a 1 hour Intro to West Coast Swing dance class (7-8pm) for BRAND NEW dancers to get you moving, followed by 3 hours of social dancing!
