Fall Routine Teams
Newcomer West Coast Swing
Skill level required: Familiar with West Coast Swing basics and some variations, learning to apply them on the social dance floor.
Practices: Saturdays 2-4pm (2hrs), October 4th to December 13
(exceptions: No practice Oct 18, practice moved to 4-6pm on Oct 25, No practice Nov 22)
Dress Rehearsal: Thursday December 18th, 5:30-7PM
Performances: Friday December 19th (arrive by 6pm, show at 7:30pm), other optional performance dates include Burlington dance, and potential shows at other locations near the end of the routine season.
Additional costs: $40-70 for your costume
Note: You are responsible for finding your own partner for this routine (cost is per person, not per couple). However, if you're having trouble please let us know and we will do our best to facilitate partnering!

Novice/Intermediate West Coast Swing
Make history with us! This will be the first routine team to perform at the Waterloo Ontario Open in it's inaugural year (February 2026).
Skill level required: Confident with West Coast Swing basics and variations, able to connect with any dancer and create on the social floor.
Practices: Sundays 5-7pm (2hrs), October 5th to February 1st
(exceptions: No practice Oct 19, Dec 21, 28, or Jan 4)
Dress Rehearsal: Thursday December 18th, 5:30-7PM
Performances: Friday December 19th (arrive by 6pm, show at 7:30pm) & Saturday February 7th (WOO 2026), other optional performance dates include Burlington dance, and potential shows at other locations near the end of the routine season.
Additional costs: $40-70 for your costume, plus you must purchase a full pass to the Waterloo Ontario Open 2026.

Beginner Country Swing

All-Levels Line Dance
Skill level required: None! You can be brand new to line dance and still participate in this team.
Practices: Fridays 5:30-7pm (1.5hrs), November 14th to December 12th
Dress Rehearsal: Thursday December 18th, 5:30-7PM
Performances: Friday December 19th (arrive by 6pm, show at 7:30pm), other potential shows at other locations near the end of the routine season.
